Martial Arts in Roseburg : Competitors Win BIG!
On Saturday, April 12th, two Roseburg martial artists from Performance Martial Arts Academy competed at the Subleague tournament in Portland. Joining up with the rest of the Performance Grappling Team from Springfield, they all hit the mats to test their skills. Tommy Smith brought home a Silver medal in his division winning his final match with a very well timed transition to a triangle choke. Maddie Patrick showed why she is one of the most decorated youth competitors in the Pacific Northwest, with two fast arm bar wins over a very solid young man from NWMA in Eugene. Overall, Roseburg sent two competitors and came home with two medals, great work!
